Students from the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) visited the BBR campus as part of their tour of Washington, D.C. on February 14-15, 2019. They toured the labs and listened to GL and DTM scientists' presentations on their research. They loved the experience of handling the different types of diamond anvil cells and learning about their various uses. The students were fascinated by the ability of the instrument makers to engineer needed equipment in the machine shop. We hope to see some of these future scientists at BBR again someday.
